Silicon Prairie News Spotlights Kana Systems’ Raikes School Collaboration

Silicon Prairie News featured Kana Systems’ first sponsored Design Studio project at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management.

In his May 1st article, reporter Ben Goeser highlights how the partnership gave students hands-on experience tackling a government contracting challenge: making patent and technical documents easier to search and extract information from, with the goal of improving feedback between proposal evaluators and submitters.

The collaboration also earned recognition at the April 24th Design Studio Showcase. Student leaders Mohanad Elsharif and Cole Walters accepted the Gold Team Award for the Kana Systems project.

Congratulations to the student team, and thank you to the Raikes School for creating opportunities to connect classroom learning with practical work. We’re grateful to Silicon Prairie News for sharing the story.
